چکیده
O presente artigo, tem como objetivo dar destaque as vivências da escravidão sob o ponto de vista feminino a partir dos recortes obra Incidentes na vida uma garota escrava, escritos por ela mesma (2018), Harriet Ann Jacobs, e carta Esperança Garcia (1770), ambas mulheres que tiveram suas vidas marcadas pela escravidão. artigo apresenta também um panorama sobre principais slave narratives no continente americano. Baseado nas ideias Kilomba (2019) Ribeiro (2019), este constrói maior parte sua base teórica para pesquisa bibliográfica pesquisadores afrodescendentes bell hooks (2018, 2019), Eduardo Assis Duarte (2005, 2020), Elio Ferreira (2008, 2014), Souza (2015, 2017, 2022), Henry Louis Gates Jr (2014), Kellie Carter Jackson (2020), Luiz Silva Cuti (2010) Paul Gilroy (2001), outros estudiosos do Brasil mundo.
